Statement: Decolonising Contraception has transitioned into Reproductive Justice Initiative

Welcome

A Few Words About Us

Reproductive Justice Initiative (formerly Decolonising Contraception) is a charity committed to developing an inclusive approach to reproductive health and rights that seeks to address the complex social, economic, and political factors that impact individuals’ reproductive lives.
Reproductive justice advocates for the right to have children, the right not to have children, and the right to parent the children one has in safe and healthy environments. It also recognizes the importance of access to comprehensive reproductive healthcare, including prenatal care, abortion, contraception, and fertility treatments, as well as the need for comprehensive sex education and economic and social support for families.

Overall, reproductive justice is a holistic and inclusive approach to reproductive health and rights that seeks to address the complex social, economic, and political factors that impact individuals’ reproductive lives.
